Sex with Wife’s Slaves

Any discussion about "biblical marriage" should consider whether or not it is OK to have sex with slave girls of a wife.

Abraham is known as the patriarch of the Jewish people, and Jacob was the father of the 12 tribes of Israel.

Both Abraham and Jacob had sex with their wive's slaves.

Today we may think this sounds wrong.  Being slaves, the women or girls likely had little choice in the matter.

The authors of the Bible don't condemn these actions of Abraham or Jacob. No prophets show up to correct them. There is no evidence that Abraham or Jacob ever repented of this.  No laws were created to restrict this type of behaviour for others.
